Cape Town Carnival
This campaign aimed to position Southern Sun as the official accommodation partner of The Cape Town Carnival whilst celebrating the vibrant and cultural tapestry of the Mother City. Simultaneously, it’s goal was to boost event specific retail sales at select Southern Sun Hotels whilst encouraging domestic tourism.
TV Commercial
We were directed to create a TV commercial as the selected medium to bring this project to life. We strategically used on-screen graphics to spotlight key information and incorporated vibrant animations for heightened visual engagement and to highlight the brand partnership between Cape Town Carnival and Southern Sun, simultaneously creating harmony between the two brands. The addition of a script delivered by a professional voice-over artist ensured a concise and polished communication of all relevant details. It was then aired across Multichoice & DSTV.
To further enhance the campaign’s impact, we provided the commercial in various formats, facilitating distribution across different channels such as social media. This strategic approach aimed to optimise visibility and engagement, ensuring the campaign reached as diverse an audience as possible.
